Providing Audio Feedback to students in Moodle
It’s important that you know what happens to your Zoom recordings such as, where they are stored and how long they are stored for.
This guide takes you through the process of restoring a previously backed up module you have made into a new module area in Moodle.
How to update the Zoom Clent
All WIT staff and fully registered students can access Moodle. Both full time and part time students can access Moodle provided that they are fully registered. Essentially, if you can log onto computers in WIT, then you should be able to log into Moodle.
You will need to import your content to the new module area. You must first request to be set up as a lecturer on the new module by emailing moodle@wit.ie with the CRN number for the new module. The CRN is a five digit number that uniquely identifies your module and is available from any of the support staff in your School office.
Did you ever find that you want to embed video from youtube or vimeo in as content in your module, however, every time you link to the video Moodle displays the video and not the link to the video, read on for a solution?
If you are lecturing on the same module again this year you can import last year’s content into the new version of the module for the new academic year.
Lecturers can import resources between the modules they are assigned to within Moodle. For example, if you are reusing case studies for a new academic year, these can be copied from a previous year’s module into the current one. It is important to note that to import between modules, you must be assigned as an editing lecturer on both modules.
