The staff of the Centre for Technology Enhanced Learning and Teaching are happy to answer any queries you may have around using Moodle.

All SETU staff members can access Moodle as long as they have an SETU username and password.

Only students who are registered in the student registration system for that specific course module can access your module content in Moodle.

In general, you do not need any special software to access Moodle.  You will need internet access to use Moodle.  The Firefox, IE10 and Google Chrome browsers tend to work best with Moodle.

Yes, all users can access Moodle from any location once they have internet access. Please note that students must first be fully registered to be able to access their notes in Moodle.

Lecturers can import resources between the modules they are assigned to within Moodle. For example, if you are reusing case studies for a new academic year, these can be copied from a previous year’s module into the current one. It is important to note that to import between modules, you must be assigned as an editing lecturer on both modules.

Initially, you will be automatically assigned to the modules in Moodle that you are timetabled on one week prior to the start of each semester.
