A page resource creates a link to a screen that displays the content created by the teacher. The robust Text editor allows the page to display many different kinds of content such as plain text, images, audio, video, embedded code or a combination of all these.

Use a Page if:

• The document doesn’t need to be printed
• You need to update it fairly often
• You don’t need to impose strict control over the way it looks (for accessibility reasons you should, if educationally appropriate, avoid taking control)
• Your students may need to refer to it (on their smartphone for example) frequently for reference e.g. timetable, schedule, tutorial groups, reading list.

Dragging and dropping text into a Page

From the the “Add an activity or resource” link choose Page. In the “Adding a new page” screen that follows, give your page a name and a description. Now you can add your content to the Page content section.

From the box that appears choose "Create a new page resource".
