Introduction

There are a couple of different ways that a lecturer can grade Moodle assignments. This post will describe how to grade inside an assignment activity as well as through the grade book. 

Before you start to grade

We recommend that you hide the assignment activity before you start to grade. You can hide individual activities or hide the entire grade book from student view. See here for instructions on how to hide activities.

The Grading Process

You can grade individual assignments and provide feedback to each student in your module by viewing each submission from within the activity. Or you can grade from within the grade book grading each student on the grade book or uploading grades and feedback from an excel file.
